Of course, our Black asses watch ‘The Bachelorette,” especially after Monday night’s episode. And no, I don’t care that it’s Friday and I’m getting this up four days after it premiered. Now usually when Chris Harrison starts every season with “this is the wildest season yet,” I roll my eyes. However, the man hasn’t been wrong since I started watching with Bachelor nation when I first watched Ben’s season.
I’m usually an impatient person when it comes to getting to the juicy drama of the season. But Miss Clare is giving all of us a showdown in literally every episode. For now, though, we finna talk about episode three, because wow.
Not going to lie, I was about 11 minutes late into the show, so I was immediately presented with the Yosef and Clare mess.
I don’t know whether or not the man who Clare kicked to the curb who called out Yosef episode one had any inkling of the asshole that Yosef truly was. But I do know that it bit Clare in the ass by not sending homie packing sooner. His claims that Clare was “classless“, unfit to mother his child, as if that kid don’t already got a mama of all things, and being ageist, calling her the oldest bachelorette was wildly out of pocket. Also, considering this was the first time he was concerned with their relationship ever, I’m questioning production on how this man even got onto the show. Like, sir, if you have a child to take care of in a pandemic maybe you should go do that instead of hanging around a bunch of single, child-free adults looking for a long-term marriage … perhaps!
Zack absolutely deserved to get his ass left
I don’t know why I scrolled through the timeline and saw that someone believed that Zack grabbing Clare by the neck was “hot.” However, it’s safe to say some of y’all are in questionable relationships and should certainly think about ending them ASAP.
But honestly, we can call Clare’s Bachelorette season a wrap
For the most part, we can all expect for Clare to take her biracial bae Dale home and wrap this season up in a nice two-week-long special and give us our BAP bachelorette Tayshia Adams.
ABC is hitting everyone with the theatrics in next week’s trailer, showing Adams slowing coming out of a pool. However, we all know that Claire is ending this season abruptly and production is moving in a newer, browner bachelorette. The question is: Will the show be leaving the amazing Tayshia with Claire’s lost leftovers? Or are we going to scrub the cast and fill the house with some new dark meat? Only time will tell, but I’m certainly thrilled that our good sis (who was way too good for Colton’s restraining order-havin ass) is getting her moment to find love.
